The Cocunut Cutties (that’s the name of our team for the 3 day walk) sponsored a disco night at our neighborhood clubhouse this past Saturday night. We raised over $1400 for the cure! You can’t help but have a good time when your surrounded by good people who come together for a worthwhile cause.
We had several silient auctions, two of which contained tickets to a future Atlanta Falcons game. Did you see the Falcons play Chicago last night? Go Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the team was present, including our guest of honor. One of our dear neighbors, Lauri was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. When we first walked last year, we had no idea that this disease would hit so close to home. This year we walk with Lauri and her family in our hearts and in our prayers.
BTW…Big kudos go out to the whole team and especially Kristi for spearheading this fundraiser.
